Services Bureau

The Services Bureau provides support for all other divisions. This Bureau consists of the Communications Division, Records Division, Personnel Division, Training Division and Crime Prevention Unit.

The heart of any organization is its personnel. The Personnel Division  ensures that only the best wear the uniform of the Ontario Police Department. California law requires background investigations for police candidates.

The Records Division is responsible for transcribing reports, filing citations and reports, and providing information to the public, as required by law.

California law requires police officers to attend many hours of specified training each year. The Training Unit makes sure that our officers are in compliance with those laws.
