Young Ambassadors to the Stars

The Young Ambassadors to the Stars Program is open to students age 11+. This program provides opportunities for students that are interested in learning more about astronomy to become involved in a program centered on a portable planetarium called StarLab. You can learn more about StarLab by visiting www.starlab.com.

Students that become involved in this program will learn how to run the portable planetarium, discover astronomy and star gazing, and explore potential career opportunities, including teaching. In addition they will gain presentation skills and experience working with the public.

This is a service learning project where students have an opportunity to learn as they share the skills and knowledge they have learned with the public.
